Fabric and stitches
The stemstitches and the Danish knots are easy enough, but the laid fillings, couched lines and satin stitches demand calm focus in order to get a fine result!
I’ve embroidered on a nice thick wool. The satin stitches demand a close wave fabric quality or you’ll have trouble placing the stitches evenly, but apart from that the image can be embroidered on any type of fabric.
